A remarkable woman
Joan Hunt O.B.E (seen here in between Antonio Banderas & Melanie Griffith at the Centro de Cuidados Paliativosis see video) is one of our favourite people for sure. After Joan founded Cudeca Cancer Care 23 years ago, the society grew from strength to strength offering care for patients in the advanced stages of a terminal illness in its hospices and by way of home visits. Cudeca is supported by it's chain of benefit shops and by donations and it is certainly a charity in which we recommend giving to. Joan came from the UK to the Costa del Sol more than 30 years ago and founded Cudeca after her husband died of cancer.
