WHAT IS THIS EVENT?
The owner of Villa Tiberio Restaurant in Marbella, Sandro Morellii is holding a Fundraising Gala Evening on Sunday 3rd November, in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice. The evening will be filled with live musical entertainment by renowned artists from here on the Coast and the MC/Auctioneer will be Mr Steve Cline. CHARITY - Most of us here are ashamed to admit that we rarely have time to concentrate our efforts on charity... yeah, once a year the guilt sets in and we try to do one nice gesture, but it rarely goes further than that, which we have been thinking is just not enough.
I'm sure many of you reading this would also love to do more and so you can, quickly & easily, here and now. Ourselves and many others have got together and donated items, services & packages to Cudeca and in just one click you can help too!! When bidding on something donated to an auction or raffle you are sure to receive the best possible results anyway and at a fraction of the true cost. Our last donations to Cudeca's telethon for example sold at just 30 or 40% of the actual cost and knowing the purchaser was also mutually trying to help out a charity, we of course made sure that the service they received was the best we possibly could (they actually came back to us and booked a bigger package, but hey that's not the important thing here). With our particular donations you can even receive them as a voucher for a gift to someone and they can be redeemed at any time.
We cant stress enough how much interest we have in helping Cudeca in any way we can and we are happy to chat to you if you can think of any other way we can do that.
You'll feel better for doing it too, I promise :)
A little about the people involved in this event:
The Cudeca Foundation (FUNDACIÓN CUDECA) profile
An amazing cause founded 26yrs ago from the vision of the inspiring Joan Hunt O.B.E., an amazing woman who is the root behind palliative cancer care for thousands.
Thanks to Joan and the influence she has had on others, her Cudeca society grew from strength to strength, offering care to patients in the advanced stages of a terminal illness in hospices and by way of home visits. Cudeca is supported by it's chain of benefit shops and by donations and it is certainly a charity in which we here at PhotoMarbella recommend donating to. Joan founded Cudeca after her own husband died of cancer and we take our hats off to her and everything she has achieved whilst helping others, an inspiring member of society to say the least and definatly a role model we can all learn from.

Villa Tiberio (MARBELLA) profile
Amazing food, service and setting are just a few of the reasons to dine at this wonderful venue.
Recommended by celebrities such as Sean Connery, Bill Wyman, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Shirley Bassey & Piers Morgan, here is what 'The Apprentice' Karren Brady said: "My favourite restaurant abroad is Villa Tiberio in Marbella. It is all outdoors; there is nothing worse than going somewhere sunny and having to sit inside. The gardens are spectacular, and if you like Italian food, it is the best you will ever have". See for yourself why the rich and famous along the Golden Mile choose to eat at Villa Tiberio, by visiting the restaurant just next to the Marbella Club.

SO, WHY BID FOR SOMETHING? OR DONATE TO CUDECA?
As you can see in this photo of Joan Hunt O.B.E. and some of Cudeca's staff, they are respected and supported by some amazingly big places and people. Antonio Banderas (Cudeca Honorary Trustee) and Melanie Griffith here are amongst many that support Cudeca and this means it has the influence that a charity needs to help others. However don't be confused though as this still means that Cudeca needs as much help from others as possible to keep things going. We can never underestimate what's required to keep charities like Cudeca going and they certainly need all our help to continue their great work, so let's do it! To donate to Cudeca and/or any other charity based organisation, please either come along to Villa Tiberio on the Sunday 3rd November, visit any other event, bid on a photography package below or donate directly to Cudeca by clicking here
Please see below, details of the 3 photography packages that we have happily donated to this cause

SUMMARY
We are definitely looking forward to the 3rd November and hope to see you there at Villa Tiberio!!!
Choosing a fundraising idea for your selected non-profit or charity is sometimes difficult. There are a lot of things to consider, from donor reception to your budget and estimated time commitment.
Sometimes, you need to run a quick and easy project to fund an immediate need. Other times, you must organize a creative fundraiser to bring in a lot of money over a longer period (an annual giving campaign, for example).
We’ve seen non-profits and charities use a variety of fundraising ideas to raise money for their cause successfully.and you can see these ideas in one online list, each with a summary and information on how that particular fundraiser raises money, the difficulty level, cost, and estimated fundraising potential. We want to make it easy for you to find a fundraising idea that is a best fit for your cause intentions and so please see 101 Fundraising Ideas here or many more here by genre.

Definately a great all round celebration with lots of fun for everyone and a great experience for Oliver.

wooow. Ive just seen here that there are two hundred of one thousand photos and a half hour presentation of three I think hours of video, that is remarkable. My husband and I just watched the video, it was lovely to see everyone doing what they can to help Joan's cause and it brought a tear to my eyes (and my husbands, although he would never admit it hehe). I look forward to seeing the content from this next upcoming event and just wish we could be there in Marbellla to attend it. We will however donate on the Cudeca site. thank you photomarbella for all your hard work, we certainly enjoyed finding out about it.
